TCP opening scene
September 15, 2004 10.15 am - Six intense months of work and planning come together on a cloudy morning in Rome, when Christian strikes the first notes on a glorious Steinway D concert grand piano. Listeners start gathering: some friends, many curious people, many tourists, but ONE question: Will he make it? 60 hours non stop is a really a long time! No matter what the outcome, the perfection of the organization already makes the TCP a success!
Sitting on the floor
September 16, 2004 - This stream went live on the web on the dawn of the Calx Project's second day. The Gallery was desolate. Christian was playing his piano (Steinway D) in the presence of Susie (his wife), Luca (Event Director), Luigi (TCP Volunteer) and Stefano (The Gallery's guard) - 5 people in hundreds of cubic meters of empty space! At this time, the acoustics were brilliant. With total silence around, you could literally hear notes moving from one part of the Gallery to the other. Tired of sitting on the piano stool, Christian moves the piano stool away and plays the piano while sitting on the floor!
A Broken Record! 60hours and 1 minute!
September 18, 2004 00.01 - The clock ticked 60 hours and the rest is for the books.
